Arutel Sentinel / Guard protection Additional application: sentinel life protection

The ARUTEL sentinel life protection system is an additional life protection measure for jobs where only one member of staff is present at any given time. The PC or network-based facility generates an automatic emergency call to a control centre (that is manned 24/7) if any unforeseen event occurs (e.g. an accident, an attack, doors locked or time lapse).

An integrated telephone alarm server securely notifies by telephone one or more internal or external emergency personnel. The system can be adapted to report via other media such as e-mail, fax, pager or loudspeaker. Voice messages are immediately selected from a database. If the situation requires it, appropriate instructions can facilitate the immediate summons of an emergency response team.

Functionality and possible applications:

Can be used from any telephone (worldwide):
The system is operated by dialling a telephone that uses an internal system or an external telecommunication network.
The person operating the system can start, extend and stop the sentinel life protection function for as long as he/she deems necessary. If the system is not stopped, but is allowed to continue, it automatically sends a reminder to the programmed telephones in the area of this person's surveillance round that the sentinel life protection function is continuing.

WEB Browser:
An (authorised) control centre can access the sentinel life protection system's current status over the internet (using Internet Explorer) at any time. This shows, for instance, which surveillance round is active and its status.

Prisons and remand centres; prison guard protection
Surveillance rounds in mines
Environmental services; protection of employees working outside the company premises

 

All incidents are saved by means of database entries in the control pc. It is selectively possible to store data externally and to retrieve a record days after the event.

ARUTEL 3.0: Das telefonische Benachrichtigungs- und Alarmierungssystem ARUTEL arbeitet jetzt frei von Steuerrechnern oder PC Hardware, frei von rotierenden Speichern, frei von Windows. Vielmehr handelt es sich um nurmehr eine einzige 19 Zoll 1HE - Einheit, die per Web-Browser angesprochen wird. Sowohl Konfiguration als auch Administration kann man bequem vom Arbeitsplatz mit z.B. einem Internet-Explorer durchführen. Anschließend könnten Sie gar Ihren PC abschalten, da die Einheit selbständig arbeitet. Darüber hinaus ist ARUTEL jetzt VoIP-fähig, so dass ggf. keine ISDN Schnittstelle mehr benötigt wird.
